The Town of Rockport, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids from Prime HVAC Contractors for the construction of the Police Department Station HVAC Upgrades, located at 168 Main St, Rockport, Massachusetts, in accordance with the documents prepared by Tetra Tech Inc., available on, and dated March 12, 2025.
General Bids will be received until 2:00 pm prevailing time, on April 10, 2025, and publicly opened, with bid results posted online.
Filed Sub-bids for the trades listed below will be received until 2:00 pm prevailing time, on March 26, 2025, prevailing time and publicly opened, with bid results posted online.
A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at the Rockport Police Department Station – 168 Main St, Rockport, Massachusetts – at 10:00 am prevailing time, on March 19, 2025.
The scope of work is the construction of upgrades to the HVAC system at the Police Department Station and associated supporting electrical and controls infrastructure. The project includes but is not limited to demolition of the existing AHU, construction of a new AHU and condensing unit, construction of a dedicated HVAC system for the Dispatch Room, dampers, and other upgrades as identified in the Contract Documents.
Estimated construction cost: $ 500,000.
