PINE MEADOWS CLUB HOUSE REHABILITION

INVITATION FOR BIDS / ADVERTISEMENT

The Town of Lexington, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed sub-bids for the renovations to the Pine Meadows Club House, 255 Cedar Street, Lexington, MA 02421 in accordance with Contract Documents prepared by Johnson Roberts Associates, Inc., 24 Dane Street, Somerville, Massachusetts, before 12:00 PM, local time, December 19, 2024, for Filed Sub-Bids and before 12:00PM., local time, January 9, 2025 for General Bids.

The Pine Meadows Club House Rehabilitation project includes selective demolitions, new interior partitions, new toilet rooms, new interior finishes, new wood and hollow metal doors, gypsum drywall partitions, carpet tile, seamless flooring, various millwork, cabinetry and trim, new mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and lighting systems, data and communications wiring within the work area as well as a new exterior door canopy roof and miscellaneous sitework associated with pedestrian access.
Sealed bids shall be submitted on a form furnished by the Awarding Authority and clearly identified as a bid, endorsed with the name and address of the bidder, and the name of the project, and submitted to:

and received no later than the times set forth herein, when they will be publicly opened and read aloud in a room at this location.
All bids may be mailed or hand-delivered to the above specified receiving address prior to the time specified hereunder, in accordance with the procedures set forth in the INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS.

There is a plan deposit of $150.00 per set (maximum 2 sets) made payable to the Town of Lexington.
Deposits must be in the form of a certified or cashier's check. The deposit will be refunded for up to two sets for general contractors and one set for sub-bidders upon return of the sets in good condition within thirty days of receipt of general bids. Otherwise the deposit shall be the property of the awarding authority.
Bidders requesting documents to be mailed, shall include a separate check, (company, certified, or money order) made out to Andrew T. Johnson Co in the amount of $40.00 for UPS Ground service.

Bidding documents will also be made available online at atjplanroom.com. Go to www.atjplanroom.com, click on Public Jobs then the project name. Drawings and Specifications will be available to view and download. To download you must register for a free account, which will place you on the plan holders list to receive addendums when issued.
It is the sole responsibility of the contractor, subcontractor, vendor and any and all interested parties submitting bids to review all ADDENDUMS prior to submitting bids at, www.atjplanroom.com

Attendance is voluntary but encouraged.
